We are looking for a hands-on, strategic CFO to build the systems, processes and insights needed for its next stage of growth. The CFO will design and scale the finance function, driving discipline in forecasting, reporting, and data-driven decision-making while partnering closely with the CEO, executive team, board, and sponsor.
Responsibilities span FP&A, accounting, budgeting, finance systems, strategic planning, modeling, forecasting, and M&A evaluation. The CFO will bring structure and visibility to the business, implementing processes that enable the next stage of growth. This will include working across the business (not just finance) to develop scalable operational systems and processes using tech-enabled solutions.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, skilled at leveraging systems to generate actionable insights and improve transparency, and has a track record in scaling finance organizations. Success will come from building on TicketManager’s strong foundation—trusted enterprise customers, deep industry relationships, and a category-defining platform.
With ambitious growth goals toward $100M of revenue in 5 years, this role offers the opportunity to shape finance from the ground up and directly influence the company's trajectory.

Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy. Oversee the Company’s strategic financial processes including financial analysis, forecast models, benchmarking, budgeting, reporting, etc. Establish and measure KPIs for the business to assess and evaluate performance with regard to short- and long-term operational goals. Ensure the company maintains financial discipline while pursuing ambitious growth initiatives.
- Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration. Be an indispensable right-hand and critical strategic advisor to the CEO, executive team, and board. Act as a bridge between finance and other teams to provide financial insights that guide decision-making. Work cross-functionally with executives to identify opportunities across pricing, vendor optimization, incentive plans, risk management, etc.
- Modeling and Forecasting. Establish an effective driver-based financial modeling system to support all aspects of financial and strategic planning, ensuring they accurately capture the nuances of TicketManager’s SaaS business. Continuously refine forecasts to inform both day-to-day decisions and long-term strategy.
- Planning & Budgeting. Lead and manage the financial and operational planning processes, including annual planning and quarterly reforecasting. Define the KPIs used to measure success, establish targets, and drive accountability to the company’s objectives and goals by implementing an operating system and cadence with the executive team.
- Pricing and Profitability. Partner with department leaders to evaluate and optimize pricing models across recurring, usage, and services. Build frameworks to measure profitability by product, customer size, and channel, ensuring insights guide future strategic growth decisions.
- Operating System Design and Implementation for Scale: Work cross-functionally with department leaders to develop and implement scalable operational systems and processes, leveraging best-of-breed technology and/or building processes in-house where appropriate.
- Capital Planning and Treasury. Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships, including the company’s ARR-based debt facility. Develop capital plans to ensure sufficient liquidity for growth.
- Investor and Board Relations. Work alongside the CEO to represent TicketManager to its board and sponsor. Provide consistent financial updates and insights, ensure alignment on performance metrics, and build confidence in the company’s financial health and scalability.
- Accounting, Compliance & Tax. Oversee the outsourced accounting functions, ensuring GAAP compliance, accurate reporting, and sound fiscal management. Lead the company’s relationships with its auditors, including managing the Company’s tax strategy for optimization.
- Finance Function Build-Out. Establish TicketManager’s first internal finance team, building in-house capabilities to complement an outsourced accounting function. Begin with a lean structure focused on FP&A while laying the foundation for a scalable, high-performing department that can support their long-term growth path.
- Financial Systems. Oversee and optimize financial systems, including Sage Intacct and Power BI. Ensure systems are integrated, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Lead system upgrades and new implementations to support accurate reporting, compliance, and decision-making.
- Culture and Team Leadership. Build, inspire, and mentor a mission-driven finance organization. Create a culture of ownership, transparency, and accountability, where financial insights empower decision-making across the business. Serve as a visible leader within TicketManager, contributing to a culture of high performance and shared success.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate how they have led, transformed, and scaled finance and accounting teams, systems, and processes in the past. An expert-level understanding of strategic and financial planning, SaaS metrics, operational KPIs & and P&L fundamentals.
- Experience. 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4+ years in leadership positions. Preference for candidates with a career track rooted in FP&A, forecasting, and modeling. Ideally experience operating in a private equity environment.
- Business Model & Scale. Experience in a SaaS business is required, ideally with middle-market or enterprise customers. Ideally in a similar growth path of scaling from $30M to $75M+ ARR.
- Modeling. Deep experience creating and iterating financial models. Background in investment banking or private equity is a plus, demonstrating the rigor needed to drive analysis and decision-making.
- M&A and Capital Markets. While not a primary focus, prior exposure to buy-side diligence or integration is beneficial, as well as experience from exits (sale or IPO), recaps and debt transactions.
- Hands On. Experience managing lean, high-output teams and building scalable processes. Skilled at mentoring early-career marketers while also driving execution personally. Known for bringing clarity, urgency, and accountability.
- Systems. Familiarity with Sage Intacct and BI platforms (Power BI preferred). Proven ability to integrate systems and create efficiency across financial and operational data flows.
- Style. A simplifier of complex topics, able to communicate effectively across the organization. Brings executive presence and gravitas to partner with the CEO and board. Should be a “doer” that focuses on getting things done with a bias to action.
- Projects. Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, from implementing financial systems to creating dashboards, while maintaining a focus on accuracy and scalability.
- Ownership Mentality. Operates as a true business partner with an ownership mindset. Understands how their actions, deliverables, and mentorship impact the broader organization.
- Location. This role requires being in the LA or NYC office 4–5 days per week.
- $250,000-$275,000 + bonus + equity
